Results Analysis

After Modem Booster runs through a series of tests on your modem, it will check and optimize your modem settings. The Results Analysis will tell you how much performance increase your modem can achieve with optimized settings.

How do I read my modem's performance?

The Results Analysis will give you the following Performance Increase values for various situations:

Extreme Performance

This compares the difference between your modem's fastest and slowest speed BEFORE optimization. If this percentage value is very high it means that your modem speed can vary greatly. This % value is how much Modem Booster has improved on your modem's speed variation.

Average Performance

This compares the average modem speed of your original settings and the optimized settings. If you get 0%, your modem's average speed is equal to the average speed after optimization. Hence, your original modem setting is optimal. But if it is greater than 0%, it is not optimal. The % value is the minimum amount your modem's average speed has improved after boosting with Modem Booster.

Best of the Best Performance

This compares the best modem speed of your original settings and the optimized settings. If you get 0%, your setting is likely to be optimal already. But if you get a result greater than 0%, your modem can actually perform better. This % value is the minimum amount your modem's best speed has improved after Modem Booster optimization.
